Do I need a mobile phone to use 19FIRE?
Yes, 19FIRE is designed around SMS. You will need a mobile phone receive your initial PIN and subsequent messages.

I tried to log in but don't know what my PIN code is?
When registering for the first time follow the 'Registration is free' link at the bottom of main page. The system will send a random generated PIN to your mobile. Enter this PIN to complete your registration.

I'm receiving emails but no SMS, what is wrong?
Until the end of December 2009 the emails for Fire Station Alerts are sent regardless of your account balance. After the first free SMS has been used you will not receive more SMS messages until you deposit money into your 19FIRE account.

Can I keep receiving email only after December?
It is possible to receive the Total Fire Ban notifications via email only, but Fire Station Alerts will only be sent in conjunction with the SMS.

How do I top up my account?
You can instantly top up your account using your credit card, or transfer money into the Cybernaut bank account. Refer to the HOW do I PAY? page for details.

How do I keep track of my spending on 19FIRE services?
You can keep track of the balance and the transactions applied to your account via the web site. After you log in, the current account balance is displayed above the main menu. To view recent transactions select 'Show Transactions' from the menu and press 'Go'.

How long does a 19FIRE subscription last?
There's no minimum contract period applicable to 19FIRE subscriptions. If you wish to unsubscribe, you can do so at any time by selecting 'Stop subscriptions' from the main menu. The following screen will show all your current subscriptions. Select 'Remove Login' if you wish to be totally removed from the system.
